Vojtech Horna |
Vojtech is a senior at USC studying public relations. He is an international student from the Czech Republic. Vojtech joined PRSSA after transferring to USC from Pierce College in 2005. Shortly after, he became an executive board member responsible for developing PRSSA's website. Vojtech also served as an interim member relations director, and last semester he was elected president. On a national level of PRSSA, he serves on the JobCenter subcommittee. Vojtech is a winner of the 2006 PRSSA National Case Study Competition. In the past he worked for Ogilvy Public Relations and Edelman. He is now interning at Weber Shandwick with Consumer Marketing team. |
Heather Linn |
Heather is a senior public relations major excited to graduate in May 2007. She is a transfer student from California State University, Long Beach and has been a member of PRSSA since Fall 2005. She has worked in various areas of public relations, including entertainment, small business, sports, non-profit and corporate. She spent the summer studying public relations at various organizations in Europe, exploring methods used in England, France, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. After she graduates she would like to work with Disney Media Networks or in another large corporate communications setting. |

Lauren Hamilton |
Lauren is a senior at USC majoring in Public Relations. She first wanted to pursue PR after a summer internship in the 9th grade. She has had several internships but her favorite was her experience at Disney. Her division was responsible for publicizing the upcoming film, Tinker Bell, who happens to be her favorite Disney character. After graduation, she is not sure which field she would like to pursue in public relations, but she is hoping that she can come to a decision through the different panels at PRSSA meetings. Long term, she would like to head the communications department of a large corporation. In her free time, Lauren likes going out with her friends, shopping, collecting everything and anything related to Tinker Bell, and going to Disneyland. |
Laura Keller |
Originally from a small community in Pennsylvania, Laura came to USC in the Fall of 2004. Now a junior, Laura is studying journalism and minoring in economics and photography. Having taken courses in journalism, public relations and economics, coupled with internships in various fields, she hopes her experiences are the right foundation to build a successful career as a business reporter. In the future, Laura plans to attend graduate school to study a communication or business-related field. In addition to her committment to PRSSA, she will work with Professor Craig Carroll on his studies of Business and News Media Relationships and pursue her own research in Source Relationships of Business Journalists. She has served as PRSSA's Member Relations Director for the past two semesters. |
Caitlin Donovan |
Caitlin is in her final year at USC, majoring in Public Relations. Her past experience includes working with TriSight on the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles HOPE account, interning at Rogers and Cowan, and working with the auction planning company, Silent Partners, among many other jobs. Currently, she works for the highly publicized Hollywood concert venue, Key Club on Sunset Boulevard. Caitlin aspires to be a public relations specialist in the music industry but has not quite decided which types of music she will focus on. If, on a rare occasion, she has free time, she enjoys dancing, going out with friends, drawing, or just relaxing with Trading Spaces on TLC. |
Jessica Nicholas |
Jessica is a Senior at USC double-majoring in Public Relations and Italian. Although she has been to Italy over 10 times and loves everything about the country, her true passion is public relations. This summer she worked full-time at a non-profit museum service organization in Washington, DC developing their internal publicity and marketing department. Her experiences there has confirmed that public relations will certainly be in her future. Jessica would one day like to work for a large company's internal publicity deparment writing and running event managment. This semester, you can find her at USC's Language Center where she works part-time as a Lab Assistant. |
